Itinerary
At 8:00 am, our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi. You will embark on a journey to the west of Hanoi, following National Highway 32 to Nghia Lo district in Yen Bai province. Along the way, you will be treated to breathtaking views of the Vietnamese mountains. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Nghia Lo before continuing your drive to Tu Le.
6:00 AM: Wake up and pack your personal belongings, then enjoy breakfast.
6:30 AM: Our guide will brief you about the program and provide essential instructions for the journey.
7:00 AM: Depart for Suoi Tien Homestay in Tu Le commune by car. From there, take a 15km motorbike taxi ride to the trekking point.
8:00 AM: Arrive at the trekking point and hand over your belongings to the porter who will carry them for you.
11:30 AM: Rest and have lunch before continuing the journey.
4:30 PM: Reach the base camp, where you can rest after the day's trek.
6:00 PM: Enjoy dinner and spend the night in a cozy and windproof wooden lodge, furnished with blankets and insulated mattresses.
4:30 AM: Wake up and enjoy breakfast while savoring a cup of coffee or ginger tea.
5:00 AM: The group starts the final ascent to reach the summit.
7:00 AM: Arrive at the peak of Lùng Cúng, take a rest, capture photos, and indulge in the breathtaking scenery from the mountain top.
10:00 AM: Have lunch at the lodge, pack your personal belongings, and begin the descent from the mountain.
1:30 PM: Take a motorbike taxi back to the starting point (15km), then transfer by car to Mu Cang Chai. Embark on an awe-inspiring journey as we traverse the imposing Khau Pha Pass, a magnificent mountain pass that leads us to the enchanting paradise of Mu Cang Chai. Known for its unrivaled beauty, Mu Cang Chai boasts some of the most breathtaking rice terraces in the world.
Morning Activities:
After breakfast, your guide will take you to visit and photograph the Che Cu Nha Rice Terrace Field, cultivated by the Hmong people. Continue your journey to Che Xu Phinh and La Phan Tan, two locations that were recognized as national landscapes of Vietnam. Marvel at the famous and most beautiful terraced fields in Mu Cang Chai District. Return to Mu Cang Chai for lunch at a local food stall.
Afternoon Activities:
In the afternoon, bid farewell to Mu Cang Chai as you head towards Nghia Lo. Along the way, take the time to explore the untouched beauty of the Nghia Lo region. Check-in at a homestay and have dinner with a local family. Spend the night at the homestay, immersing yourself in the local culture.
You will then depart for Suoi Giang Eco-Park, a part of the Hong Lien Son national park. Explore the park and learn about the special green tea of Vietnam while taking photographs in the tea garden. Next, visit Hoc village, known for its hot springs. Take a dip and relax in the natural hot waters of the stream. Enjoy lunch at a local food stall.
Afternoon Activities:
In the afternoon, your guide and driver will transfer you back to Hanoi city. Your trip will end at your hotel in Hanoi, where you will bid farewell to your guide and driver. Take with you the memories of an amazing trip to Mu Cang Chai.
