I wouldn't deny that we enjoyed the trip given to us. We explored almost the whole Vietnam in 10 days and visited the must see in the country, without Emoi Vietnam Travel's help it wouldn't be possible. However, it was a bit disorganized in some aspects such an itinerary will not be much to what you expected. Some days it will turn out that you will start late or one of the itinerary was not part of it anymore or your pick up is not sure who and where to pick up us sometimes. Good thing our agent which is Drake is accommodating and fast action/reply in every drama we encountered. We booked a private tour just for 2 people. It was a bit pricey but we expected it to accommodate us or a professional tour guide but only got 2 proper guides in the whole trip. Some of the guide in other places was busy in their phone, won't talk to us or explain things, sometimes we asked the questions first and got ignored cause they're somehow busy in their phone or didn't pay attention, some guide was a bit lazy too left us behind and will let us continue the walk ourselves in some places- it is understandable that if you do the walk everyday it's tiring for them but that's their job. We were lost a lot of time and just kept tracking the tour guide because he was not following us. It feels like we have no tour guide at those times lol. A tour guide should bring snacks or water as well but some are too lazy to bring it with them. We are very generous and even invited the guides to eat and order with us so we expected a better give and take. We will maybe get this agency again but will be very picky for a proper guide cause we pay good. Starting in the north, I visited Hanoi, the stunning Ha Long Bay, Sapa, and the peaceful nature of Ninh Binh. Then I made my way down through Da Nang and the charming town of Hoi An, before flying to the beautiful Phu Quoc Island. The journey ended in Ho Chi Minh City, from where I flew back home. Although I arranged the hotels myself, the agency took care of all the transfers and logistics, and everything was exceptionally well coordinated, always on time, and completely stress-free. I was genuinely impressed by the high quality of organization, especially considering the very reasonable price for such a long and detailed itinerary. If you're planning a trip to Vietnam and want a professional team who truly knows how to handle the details, I highly recommend this agency. We had a lot of crazy situations during the travel like flight cancellations and a tropical storm, but they were ALWAYS with us to provide assistance and support, even if we landed at 2 am from a flight or if we needed some random information about a good Restaurant for dinner. Of course they are doing this for a price, but you really can feel they care about you and they love what they do.
